I'm not for updating rules mid season but the updates look like things that should have been put in anyway so that's OK.

Yep spot Chris, just cleaning up what has been already said so its a solid platform to start with in 2010.

it was my understanding that we couldn't brace the chassis on any cars

We ageed that all cars could be braced when the issue was raised regarding the 997 class started having chassis fail and crack. There is a post here somewhere discussing it.

Generic regulations which apply to all classes

25. Rear axle/motor may be braced to reduced rear bounce.

Yeah I'm with you Nathan, the axle/motor brace is different to a "chassis" brace. I'm not gonna do it anyway, I had a fiddle with blu tack and I couldn't get it to fit anyway. I'll give it a test run and see how it goes as is, lookin forward to sat!

Shane I believe Rule 25 is correct refering to rear axle and motor

If we find something that help make the cars driveable then lets do it. As long as it does not cost the earth. ie aluminium wheels, etc .  I actually thought the bracing only related to Ninco cars as they seem to need it the most
We do need to clean up silly rules like , having all the screws in place. i mean we allow chassis trimming we should stipulate a minimum of 2 screws (per week)  oh sorry i mean on each car. ( for 2010).
I would like to also request early consideration of having club supplied hand controllers. We should have the money to make at least 4-5 . With the new track in ballarat we should not need to go to mobile raceways any more so we wont need 8.
We can get some brake variable 35 OHMs made by MR.
Also looking to have a social late in november who would be interested.??

I'll get to any social I can, and if anyone's up for one at my place (if you haven't driven WBV yet) I'll gladly open the door!

I like the minimum 2 screws idea.... what?... oh... sorry... I thought... never mind.

RE the controllers, I had a go of Davnic74's Professor Motor controller and I've asked Santa for one. What a difference it makes to the controllability!! (I mean, my poor driving!)

Who would maintain the club controllers Mark?

I agree that the number of home tracks (does Ged's count as a home track? It is his house too...) now means we don't need to go to MR anymore, but does this go against the "support your local hobby shop" idea?

Once again, we need to organise a day where we can all get together and nut these issues out face to face.
It just takes too long in cyberspace.

Committee may need to list all issues and bring along a copy to the next meet?

Agree if there is an easy fix to make a car drivable then it should be allowed.

No rules needed for screw, some cars can get by with one screw

Not interested in club controllers.

Don't like resistor braking, I use diodes in my brakes.

Should still go to MR and support the locals.

We were gonna talk about electronic controllers for next year at Ged's, but ran out of time. Agree with all you said Chris
