Porsche 997 - weight question

No one wanted to change to allow MJKs so evryone must be happy to run standard tyres.  However the question was raised about lifting the maximum weight currently set at 95gms

vote for change as weight rule was to make cars easier to drive rather than led sleds (ps I didn't make the rule up, just agreed to it)

i dont see why we need a weight limit, we dont have one in any other class
mine only weighs about 90gms i dont think anyone wants a lead sled
but if you feel it needs a bit more weight you should be free to put it in
how many times have they been weighed on a race day?
only once that i can think of, this is a rule that has not been enforced and in my opinion
a rule we dont need

Yes to increase/remove - this allows for a little tinkering on an individual car setup within a standardised class that is very close for all racers

Yes to increase, does anyone remember why the upper limit was set?

yes the person who thought it up believed it would help everyone with their setup - and it did, but the freedom should be allowed now

Yes to remove. Mine was only 90 grams and was going OK, don't see the need to go heavier but if someone wants to let them.
