LMP - shattered the classic F1's were dropped as I just took the mag out and put Ortmanns on with weight and it's so much better to drive!

I'd like to suggest Modern LMP, GT1's, Modern Era FIA GT, Modern Nascars and WTCC as some options

Id like to see LMP as there is a good selection of manufacturers and liveries available, and also WTCC.

With the ninco classics, are the NC1 & NC8 motors on par with each other?

not sure Rob,
haven't run them side by side.
specs say
NC-1 = 15700 rpm
NC-8 = 16000 rpm
so a rule of motors up to 16000 rpm or NC-1 or NC-8 only would fix the problem . NC-1's are not available in new release classics

sax

Would these be a good 'racing' class?
I spose we could crank up the volts.....

I'd go for the Ninco Classics as I've already got a Jag too.

So Ninco Classics gets my vote.

Cars dont have to be fast to give close racing

To date
LMP has been mentioned more than a few times
Ninco Classics has also been mentions a fewtimes as has WTCC

Those with one mention are

HOT RODS
GT1
MODERN ERA FIA GT
NASCARS

Anyone want to second any of these

WTCC

SCX NASCARS

SCX F1- (Spanner in works I know but)

Rally cars

Modern Sedans

Fixed chassis / free body class

Ninco type classics (with max motor of thruster (16,000rpm) so long as wheels are standard - no silly wide rims fitted)

Modern FIA GT would be covered if the Ninco GT class is opened up to include other brands, we already have the Ninco Gallardo, Ferarri 360GT and Porsche GT3 in this class, we could also have the Scalextric or SCX Aston Martin, SCX Corvette C5/6, Scalextric Ferarri 430 GT and more. To have FIA GT as a separate class would be doubling up.

WTCC/DTM/BTCC Touring cars

SCX NASCARS

Rally Cars

Yeah, I've got three SCX COT NASCARS now, so I don't mind if they become a class too.
