With these cars now allowed alloy hubs and replacement spur gears why would we excluded the Slotter, Slot it and Racer cars. With the 18K motor limit in the rules these cars would be no quicker than the Flys.

I don't understand why we can't use other brand's anyway, and all this about 18,000 motor limit is getting boring...

When can i race my Slotit Alfa's?
Is this becoming a FLY,Ninco,Slotit club confused

Soprry for the rant..but i have car's i would like to race not look at..smile

variety is good, I also have cars that only ever get a run here. point is, slot it will be a clear winner against all other rtr cars. I also have the Alfa's, but they are yet to get a run cry

What if we run the Slot its with the pod tight, that should keep them more in line with the other cars.

If Slot it was allowed to run how many Fly's would be in the field? or any other manufacturer for that matter? The class as it stands right now provides close racing why change it?

so true Rob, it would turn into an Alfa or Ferrari 312 class. That's for those who have them and those that don't probably wouldn't bother. We have been racing this class as is since 2006, and as Rob says it provides good close racing and there's plenty of variety on the grid

There is already a class for Slot Its where it can race with other Slot Its so there is no need to bugger up something that works.

Slot Its, Le Mans/LMP and classic Le Mans are three seperate classes

Me either.  My understanding was that the other brands were excluded because some/all of the bolt on goodies come standard on these cars.
